Coutances is the backdrop for Normandy’s long established jazz festival between May 16 and 23 this year.

As well as providing dairy products for a giant picnic on Sunday 17, Normandy dairy cooperative Isigny Sainte-Mère is sponsoring a live event on Thursday 21 that will combine music and cookery.

Michelin-starred chef Ivan Vautier will work to live accompaniment from performer and composer Andy Sheppard, ably assisted by percussionist Michele Rabbia.
